Rakeback calculator

This rakeback calculator turns a percentage into money. Choose poker or casino, enter your monthly rake or your wagers, and select an operator to fill in its entry or top rate, or type a rate yourself. Everything runs in your browser; nothing you enter is sent anywhere.

What do you play

House edge = 100% − RTP. A slot with 96% RTP has a 4% edge.

    How the calculator counts

One formula per base. The same 10% gives very different money depending on what it is taken from.

    Poker: % of rake

    Rake paid × rate.

    $1,000×10%=$100

    Casino: % of house edge

Amount wagered × house edge × rate.

    $10,000× 1% ×10%=$10

    Cashback: % of net losses

Net losses in the period × rate. A winning period pays nothing.

    $300×10%=$30

    Turnover: % of bets

Amount wagered × rate. Small rates, big base.

    $10,000×0.2%=$20

    How rakeback is calculated

The calculator uses the formula that matches the operator's base:

    Base Formula Used by
Rake (poker) rake paid × rakeback rate GGPoker, PokerStars, ACR, WPT Global and other poker rooms
House edge (casino) amount wagered × house edge × rakeback rate Stake, Shuffle, Rollbit and most crypto casinos
Net loss (cashback) net loss × cashback rate FortuneJack, BitStarz, Cryptorino
Turnover amount wagered × rate Wild.io, Fairspin, Clash.gg

For net-loss cashback the calculator uses your expected loss, which is wager × house edge. Real results in a single week can be higher or lower.

How to use the poker rakeback calculator

    1. Select Poker.
    2. Enter the rake you pay in a month. If you do not know it, your hand history or the room's statistics page usually shows rake paid.
    3. Pick a room to load its entry or top rate, or enter a rate.
    4. Read the result per month and per year.

    Poker examples

Monthly rake Rate Rakeback per month Per year
    $300 27% (flat) $81 $972
    $1,000 30% (PLO flat) $300 $3,600
    $2,000 50% $1,000 $12,000

    PLO rakeback calculator

Omaha games usually generate more rake per hour than Hold'em at the same stakes, so PLO players gain more from the same rate. Enter your PLO rake separately if the room pays a different rate on Omaha, as WPT Global and Nexa Poker do.

How to use the casino rakeback calculator

    1. Select Casino.
    2. Enter your total wagers for the period.
    3. Enter the house edge of the games you play, or 100% minus RTP for slots.
    4. Pick a casino to load its rate, or enter one.

    Typical house edge by game

    Game Typical house edge
Crash and dice games about 1%
Blackjack with basic strategy about 0.5% to 1%
    Baccarat, banker bet about 1.06%
    European roulette 2.7%
    American roulette 5.26%
Slots 100% minus RTP, often 3% to 6%

Check the game's information screen for its exact RTP or edge. Slots in particular vary from title to title.

    Casino examples

    Wagered House edge Rate Rakeback
    $10,000 1% 5% $5
    $10,000 4% 10% $40
    $50,000 3% 20% $300

Comparing a poker rate with a casino rate

A poker rate and a casino rate cannot be compared directly. 30% of poker rake and 30% of a casino's house edge come from different amounts. To compare casinos with different bases, convert everything to a share of your wagers:

    Offer Share of wagers
    10% of a 1% house edge 0.1%
    10% of a 4% house edge 0.4%
    0.3% of turnover 0.3%

    Questions and answers

    How is rakeback calculated?

In poker, rake × rate. In casinos, amount wagered × house edge × rate. Cashback programs use net loss × rate.

How do I calculate my Stake rakeback?

Enter your wagers, the house edge of the games and the Stake rate. At Bronze, about 5% of the house edge: $10,000 on a 1% edge game returns $5. See Stake rakeback for details.

Can I use the calculator for PLO?

Yes. Enter your Omaha rake and the room's PLO rate, for example 30% at WPT Global.

    Is the calculator result guaranteed?

No. It shows what the published rate returns on the numbers you enter. The actual payout depends on the operator's rules, your level and, for cashback, on your results.
